The term has gained traction over the last several years. With the explosion of social media, building a presence online is more profitable & more important than ever before. Using the right tactics, your financial freedom could be within reach MUCH sooner than age 65.
How is it logical to go to school for 18-20 years, spend the next 40 years working, THEN be able to relax? That way of living is slowly becoming less and less of an option for hundreds of thousands of young people worldwide.
The idea of having your own time back – without having to face severe consequences or answer back to an unappreciative boss – IS A DREAM! Those who figured it out sooner rather than later are 100% on the straight path to financial independence.
The plan is where the effort happens. Steps must be taken in order to guarantee your F.I. (financial independence).
You MUST become financially aware – are you good with your money? Have you begun investing a percentage of each paycheck? Do you know exactly how much you have / will get every month? Do you have multiple streams of income?
Those questions test whether or not you have a good relationship with your money. You will never become financially free if you do not take accountability for how awfully you use your money. When reaching for F.I., every single cost COUNTS.
You MUST be comfortable with delayed gratification – are you willing to put in work NOW in order to relax more LATER? Will you give up quickly because you aren’t seeing results in the first 6 months? Are there sacrifices you’re going to make to reach the level of freedom you’re hoping for? Are you going to put in the effort?
Those questions tug more at your emotional headspace. The idea of reaching financial freedom at a young age is not as simple as it appears. In case you believed this myth, it is not an overnight experience. It is going to teach you more about yourself than you could ever imagine.
You MUST have a strategy – where are you going to put the newfound wealth once you’ve attained it? what is going to bring you to success? do you have a timeline? will you reach out to anyone for help? Do you have anyone motivating you / mentoring you? Are you educating yourself on the topics at hand?
These questions test your mental strength and endurance. There is no chance you’ll last in your strategy if you aren’t willing to face your shortcomings / strengthen your skills.
Your plan starts with your mind. Be flexible with the path to your goal, but never be flexible about the goal itself.
Level Up!
